Services

Two core services: personalized neurofeedback training and quantitative EEG Brain Map assessment. All services are fee-for-service; HSA and FSA cards are accepted.

Neurofeedback Training

$180 / hour

Personalized EEG-guided brain training sessions using the QEEG system. Training protocols are not generic: they are selected based on your individual EEG patterns, your symptoms, and how your nervous system responds during each session.

Dr. Finnick monitors your EEG in real time throughout every session, making active adjustments to the training parameters — sometimes as small as a fraction of a hertz — as your brain responds. The system provides feedback (visual and audio) that reinforces more stable, efficient patterns. Your brain does the learning; Dr. Finnick's role is to know what to target and when to adjust.

Brain Map (Quantitative EEG)

$1,200

A Brain Map is a comprehensive quantitative EEG assessment using the Brainmaster system. Sensors are placed across multiple sites on the scalp to record resting and task-related brainwave activity. The data is processed through a specialized FDA-cleared database, producing a detailed multi-page report of metrics, statistical comparisons, and functional patterns.

Dr. Finnick distills that complexity into clinically useful information: which patterns are most relevant to your symptoms, where the most significant deviations are, and how those findings should guide the design of your training protocol.

A Brain Map is not required for every patient. Dr. Finnick recommends it when a detailed view of your brain's electrical activity would add meaningful information beyond a careful clinical intake — or when you and your other care providers would benefit from objective neurophysiological data.

Conditions commonly addressed

Individual suitability is determined through consultation and assessment. Neurofeedback is most often used as part of a broader care plan alongside therapy, medication management, or other interventions. Common referral themes include:

  • ADHD and attention difficulties
  • Anxiety and stress regulation
  • Depression and mood
  • Sleep disturbance
  • Migraine and chronic pain
  • Trauma and PTSD-related symptoms
  • Peak performance and cognitive goals

Insurance and payment

Tahoe Neurofeedback does not bill insurance directly. This is a fee-for-service practice — a choice that keeps the focus on individual care rather than on the constraints of insurance reimbursement models.

HSA and FSA cards are accepted. A detailed receipt is provided for each service. If you wish to submit for out-of-network reimbursement through your insurer, receipts are available upon request — though the reimbursement process is between you and your insurance company.
